Sustainability
Gear that lasts is the most sustainable thing we can make. Doing better is a process, not a finish line — here's where we are and where we're going.
Our Approach
We started Kovah because cheap gear fell apart and premium gear felt like a rip-off. The most sustainable product is the one you don't have to replace — so durability sits at the heart of how we design: fabrics chosen to hold their shape, seams built to survive training, pieces made to be worn for years, not a season.
“Buy once, because it works.” The KOVAH way
Where We're Focusing
Materials
Prioritising soft, durable fabrics and moving toward more responsibly sourced fibres as our catalogue grows.
Packaging
Minimal, recyclable packaging — no excess, no unnecessary plastic.
Less Waste
Durable designs, made-to-last construction and a 30-day return window that keeps the right pieces on the right bodies.
Everyday Seamless — Fabric & Footprint So Far
Our Everyday Seamless pieces are knitted as one continuous garment — the fabric is shaped on the machine rather than cut from a flat sheet. That means far less off-cut waste than cut-and-sew production, and fewer seams to fail over the life of the piece.
We keep packaging to what's needed: your order ships in minimal, recyclable packaging with no excess layers.
We're not going to greenwash you. We're early, our volumes are small, and we don't yet carry third-party certifications such as Oeko-Tex or GRS — so we won't claim them. As we grow, we'll publish real fibre compositions, supplier details and impact numbers on this page the moment we can document them.
Our Roadmap
We're being straight with you: we're early, and there's more to do. As we grow we'll publish concrete targets on responsible fabrics, packaging and production — and hold ourselves to them. This page will be updated as we hit each milestone.
